Has anyone played this yet? I'm thinking of purchasing it because the in-game videos on YouTube look great.

I haven't played it but watched a few in game reviews/podcasts
on it. Seems atm there's little incentive/reward to kill zombies hence player interactions are shoot first before the other player shoots first. ie: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PI_3qtz06ek kagekaze dies while looking at the map just minutes after spawning in game. member of The Old Timers Guild

Waste of money, the release of Dayz will be out much sooner anyway and be 100 times what this game will be. Warz vs Dayz is like COD vs Battlefield, for the kiddies and from what I have seen they already have some basic P2W survival essentials in the shop for real money purchases I think? This is on the back of asking for pre-purchase to get into testing. All these guys tried to do as well was cash in off the back of the huge popularity of Dayz, even lied and tried to pretend they had been working on the game for a couple of years when clearly they had not. The game could be alright if they remove all the real money items that can influence survivability, but everything about it is just so inferior to Dayz, especially the gun detailing, gun mechanics and bullet physics (which ARMA is famous for). " In the early days of Dayz pking was less of an issue, not as much shooting on sight but sadly it becomes inevitable the more popular something becomes. There are different aspects to this though, can depend on the map a little, whether you are on a private hive or not or the area you are in. When the full release comes out as well there will be many different aspects to the game I am sure, there are already teams/clans of medics on some servers for instance, many different private hives.
