Need fast way to know item level !

I would definitely like to have the option of having the item level automatically display when viewing an item. There are times when I only want to pick up certain items for rerolling if they are from a boss/rare monster for the +2 item level, but after killing a big group I'm not sure who dropped what. So it would make it much more convenient to just hold the item pick up key and see the item levels.

I know the UI can get cluttered, but I really don't care if it's just a big awkward square off to the left of the main item box. :)

In my opinion, item level should be displayed in the item description / hover text so that it can be seen easily, and more importantly linked in chat.

The trade value of many items, especially uniques, depends a lot on item level since it determines the number of available sockets. And right now there is no way to know what you are buying.

This,
GGG - Why you no?
I agree, item level becomes very important as you play and should be on the tooltip. This would be especially helpful in trade, so you know exactly what mods and sockets can roll on an item.
Because i don't want to type /itemlevel for 200 items?

Or because i don't want to hit enter, up arrow, enter for 200 items ?

Please add a shortcut key devs.

There are few options, not sure I think I knew 3, but atm can only remember 2.. maybe I´m wrong, lol

1) Hold alt when looking at item and it might display you itemlevel.

2) Just hover with cursor on item, press ctrl + c and then paste somewhere using ctrl + v, it will copy you item in text form and it also contains mentioned itemlevel.

Correct, but just to make it more clear in case someone is still confused: You have to mouse over an item posted in chat and hold alt so the itemlevel is displayed as well. (Why isn't it just displayed by default then? Seems a little silly..) Or you can Ctrl+c when holding your mouse over an item in chat and ctrl+v in a text editor of your choice to list all stats, including itemlevel.
Hi,

Maybe you can just use a macro "/itemlevel" with a short cut on your keyboard.
I think it is the faster way if your keyboard can use macro

AFAIR Autohotkey itemlevel macro is not forbidden, so you don't actually need some special keyboard.
And worst change is putting almost all bosses in new version of maps into fucking small areas, where you can't kite well or dodge stuff. What a terrible idiot invented that I want say to him: dude flick you, seriously flick you very much.
Shift-Up will retype the last message you typed into chat... so you only need to type /itemlevel once.

Yea, if 'itemlevel' is the only thing you ever type in chat, then this solution works. But most players are not hermits living in the desert...

It's about time ilvl gets on item sheet. The old excuse that it would "confuse new players" is BS. There's a ton of other confusing things in this game, a hidden "item level" data being one of them.
