Dischargers having fun with Cast when Damage Taken - Video

At what level would you recommend getting CI?

EDIT: And do you go left on the tree skill first or getting the shadow passives first?

as of now several people copied the build, I take them as compliments, who wants to bet cast on damage taken will cost mana?

The build is getting better and better!

So i tried Frenzy-Manaleech-ViperStrike on the dagger and it works pretty well.
Thats very close to the R-click on my ST Scion. Enter the room, wait for her bubbling, R-click.
ViperStrike to speed it up even more.

But for trash grinding those single target skills do nothing. Arc with Elemental Proliferation is just a to nice debuffer. Thats up to +90% dmg. Just waiting for the Big Bang is boring and there are those curse immun resistant mobs that still can get shock stacked.

Finally dropped the MoltenShell-Castwhendmgtaken-ConcEffect-Lifeleech for my Arc. Could use Shock Nova but the range of Arc is insane, its easy to focus on a rare/boss and can jump back to the rare/boss. Piety is easy to shock stack with arc on her + those circles.

Because Frenzy for single target is pretty good all i need now is a 6L Voll's to try it with Cast on Crit. Thats 100% more dmg compared to the 50% less dmg by Cast when Dmg Taken. And more important, it doesnt lag the s#! out of reflect. And its 3 free sockets on the weapon which is the return of molten shell. It also has potentially way more single target leech that doesn't require dmg income.

So many possible ways to build around Discharge now. Its INSANE!!

Was actually a buff, atleast for me.

Now reflect and thorns dont lag/freeze anymore. Smooth runs.

I remember this one reflect map where i just looked like 20sec on the screen and then died to a single ranged mob that was out of leech range. Silly. But necessary for sience :P

I hope i get my 6L Volls done befor the really huge nerf (to the death) so i can switch to Cast on Crit with Frenzy.

OP could make a new video, i like to know how his build performs now. Cant be that bad now.

So if i understand the recent NERF right then its not possible to link a lvl 1 cwdt with a lvl 20 discharge. Because the level req of the lvl 1 gem is 31 and the lvl 20 discharge has a 68 requirement.

This just s u c k s!

But anyway, i dont want to give up my lazy discharger!

I think i will use 2 highlevel gems now that have a level difference of 1.
With this they shouldn't trigger at the same time and the higher gem will mostly take more dmg, so there is a gap between them, only trigger at the same time if they hit their common multiple.

Like a 400 and 600 treshold trigger together at 1200, 2400, 3600 and so further. But the real gem treshold is harder to match a common multiple.

Maybe it works like i think it should. But still, the investment is at least a 4L for Discharge-LL-CwDt-X.

For lunaris grind my X is just increased area to clear even more. But with the change of the treshold and gem level the discharge also does MORE dmg. So maybe i can get it even work with just 3L?

Molten Shell is now definitly gone, i dont rly want any mitigation at all. As much as possible dmg input and leech as possible.

Maybe the nerf just made me think outside the box and my build is getting even more efficient?

What rly sucks is to level up one to lvl 19 and one to lvl 20 -.-

They just broke my legs and tell me to walk home :D
