Hey guys!
So im going to be taking a break from making PoE videos for awhile. Recently ive been watching a youtuber called pewdiepie who plays allot of scary games and uses the facecam in his vids. The videos have inspired me to try out the scary game genre myself. Ive posted a few vids of my "attempts" already and plan to post more. At the moment i have "Paranormal" uploaded. Played a few good ones in my time.
1) Silent hill 1 - 3 is definitely worth the trip (I believe PSN has the HD remake bundle) 2) Alan Wake is another. 3) Amnesia Dark Decent (this is definitely freaky) 4) Dead Space (can't believe you havn't tried this one yet, I mean the first one) "How would you like it if I snuck into your country and did this job over there... and not cash in any of your friggin checks?!! " If I can give you a tip, you really should try Fatal Frame, or Project Zero as it's called in Europe. I've sadly only tried the first one, but believe me, that was scary stuff. It took thirty minutes before the first enemy showed up, so it's not for everyone. It's slow as hell, but all the better for it. And trust me, when the first enemy did show up, I was already terrified. And I don't scare easily. :) Oh, and also, please don't try scary games and post you playing them on youtube simply to look "cool" or something. It's incredibly easy to tell when someone's faking being scared, and that's just silly. If you don't scare easily, why not try another genre? Maybe play through some comedy games and post your reaction instead? It's easier to laugh with the commentator than being scared, and often much more enjoyable. That's why shows like Tosh.0, AFV and Ridiculousness are so successful, and why you hardly see the similar version with scary stuff. ;) "And that's how you die properly, sailor boy." " Definitely like Alan Wake, while it is not the scariest game out there, I really like the game with the plot being interesting, and the gameplay being very dark as it is taking place in the wilderness somewhere in the NW US. Alan Wake definitely sets the tone of being an horror game. So far ive downloaded Amnesia, Penumbra: black plague and overture and Nightmare house mod i got for hl2

Thief 3 has some end-game scary levels (Cradle is considered one of the scariest PC horror levels by some), though you'll need to grind through the non-scary missions to unlock them.

Grey and Cry of Fear are both very cool indie horror games. Check them out.
