(VERY Rough outline-
Spectral throw, molten shield, rejuvenation totem, and heavy strike until fire/spell damage starts to be raised. Clarity is not necessary at this point.

Once Elemental Dominion obtained, you will want to put a spell totem w/multiple projectiles & fire penetration in there. If you already have 4 slots, add a faster casting in there as well. Also make sure to add +fire dmg to your spectral throw. At this point, you will need to start running clarity.

Once you have obtained both spell totem and incinerate and have at least a 4S item, you are going to want to start using a spell totem w/incinerate as opposed to the flame totem. You will want m/projectiles and fire penetration added to it. If you get a 5/l, add the aforementioned faster casting. Your main damage at this point will be between molten shell and your totem. Spectral throw has started to severely suffer damage wise by this point, so while it is still useful in sniping enemies, it will no longer be your primary damage dealer.

Once Ancestral bonds is obtained, your main/only damage will be your totems. You will still be running molten flame and clarity for the defense and mana regen. As soon as possible, add a reduced mana gem to clarity to get the cost down as you will be leveling it when possible.)

Q. Why health instead of ES?
A. This is to avoid all the ridiculous conditions and debuffs that occur late game. Until GGG decides to base C&D on ES as well as life, life is simply the better stat. Also, with all the life nodes in hand's reach of the Scion starting area, it is just the logical choce.

Waste 7 points for 18% fire damage (3 nodes to get that) and 10% elemental with some + int?

You skip 2 points to get 16% damage and 4% cast speed.



135% life is not nearly enough for nemesis.

10% all resists?

Almost no armor?



Not trying to troll, but nothing about this is HC or nemesis-able.


I haven't had a chance to test if the totem defensive nodes actually help them survive in higher level maps but you have none of them so either way they will die super fast.
