Leap Slam Range Question

I was wondering if there was anything i can do to effect the distance to how far i can jump? Right now it seems like i can only move half of my screen. I understand attack speed makes it faster.

I think if i use the increased area gem, it would only effect the radius of the attack, not the distance.
