That entirely depends on the circumstances.

If you are playing on a US gateway, and you only join US groups, then trace to the us.login.pathofexile.com address.

If you're playing on the EU gateway, and you only join EU groups, then trace to the eu.login.pathofexile.com address.

If you play on US but join EU groups, then the instance you join will most likely be EU and you should trace to the eu.login.pathofexile.com or the Instance server listed at the end of your log file (in the logs folder).

It will say something about connecting to instance 127.0.0.1:6112 but have a different IP than 127.0.0.1. Take the part before the :6112 and that is the IP to trace to for THAT instance server.

Looks like you're getting quite a bit of packet loss and a pretty big jump in latency going through those retn.net hops (starting with ae5-6.RT.TC2.AMS.NL.retn.net)

That's not your ISP, but it's someone who is peering with them at some level. It's before your packets are getting into the GGG network.

Best bet is to attempt to contact your ISP and give them a copy of that trace for reference. See if they can look into the packet loss problem for you.
