Technical Support - Joins gateways but fails to load up instances in game. - Forum

So I get this problem from time to time, the game will be working great for like 3 hours, than it will just stop working, instances will fail and it will even fail to log into a gateway some times, I don't change anything and I have run packcheck, Do the servers randomly go down for a while quite often? Your best bet would be to grab WinMTR and run it against the server you're having problems connecting to (so in the case of your logs you'd run it against 173.192.25.19). This should help identify where the problem is occuring. Well, it is possible your ISP is blocking some types of traffic... which is annoying as it makes it harder to diagnose the problem. Does it say 'request timed out' for every hop, or does it work for the first few? If you're not even getting a response from your router/modem then it's either got some pretty paranoid settings (you may want to check if they can be changed) or you may be having problems with your LAN. If you're on wireless, try using wired - and if you're already using wired you could try using a different cable or port if available. It would also be worth disabling any firewalls/security software you might be running to see if that makes a difference. You could also try pinging the servers (e.g. ping 173.192.25.19 or ping google.com) but it's possible your ISP could be blocking that too. If none of the above helps, then it's likely you'll need to contact your ISP and get them to investigate the connection problem.
