As title says its really hard to create any viable ranger builds after that -not nerf destroying blood magic and auras rangers need to struggle a lot sustaining mana-life balance where they also need evasion or decent amount of armour.... hey where is the damage???
Auras were helping so we could sacrifice some damage nodes(crit/ ele damage)... So frustrated right now, dont know what to do, dont want to play with that porn star... This thread has been automatically archived. Replies are disabled.

Personally, I think Rangers are in a good spot still.
If you're honest, Rangers pretty much had it easy before. Now its more in-line with some of the other classes. Think outside the box and I'm sure you'll eventually hit on a build you would like. A spectral throw Ranger looks pretty promising!! Just for try for see and for know.

lol some guy above said ranger as good as never, haha. before patch 2,8k hp 7k la, with other buff i could go for 9,5k
altho i respected(wanted to get 90lvl) to 3600 hp and 5k la(lmp chain) and now, i got 4k hp and 2,5k la cause i am not able to use any auras(due to blood magic). if i take node + reduced mana i remain with 2600 hp only. thats real bad. ign: GoPizza

" How does the fact that your character respec has been done poorly, mean that I was wrong with what I said. This game has changed now that it has moved out of Beta. If you believe you could keep the exact same spec as before without having to make amendments, then you had the wrong idea regarding release. You sound like one of these people who will be creating threads saying "omg, auras nerfed and now no builds are viable. Trash game, gg, I quit... see you tomorrow". Chill out, look at your options and step away from a multi-aura 1-button Ranger and open your mind to the possibilities. There are way more of them now... especially with Ranger! Don't know why some people are pissed about having to respec. Most gaming companies don't even give free respecs when they change their skill trees. Strangely, giving free respec doesn't seem to curb the complaining at all.

The problem with ranger at the moment are weak evasion/life nodes. They were not boosted, you can find 10% armor node followed with 6% life. Bring those evasion/life nodes to 10%/6% and ranger will shine again.
