I can't imagine anything breaking PoE to a point where its "irreversible". PoE is like a chair, no matter how hard you try to break it (unless of course, GGG just shut their servers down), you are still capable of technically sitting on it. Sadly PoE was never a nice chair, even though it looks like it could have been at one time, it has certainly taken a beating from some of the things you mentioned such as desync, snapshotting, party board trading, $1000 Custom Uniques (lol unable to nerf Aegis Aurora cause creator wanted it to be like that) and so on. While there is no chair like it, we certainly won't ever find out how good it could have been if none of these problems existed, and how relieved we could have been of our "butt pain" from "sitting on it".

Wonder how PoE will look like in a two years from now on ....
