Darkness: Bug or feature?

1) There are some floor tiles that are totally black in this view:

That, totally looks like a graphic bug. I have deleted my shader cache folder and I still encounter these totally dark tiles in Lunaris level 3.

2) This is my character standing somewhere in Lunaris. Can you tell what's around her?

Around her is a pile of dead bodies, which are obstacles, and I was wondering why I could not move. I frequently need to fire ice shots so they generate some light and I can see something.

3) After clearing Lunaris level 3, when I open a portal and enter Sarn Encampment, the brightness level changes so suddenly that the pupils of my eyes collapse. It hurts, and it could well be a medical hazard to people with glaucoma.
Idea: Can we program the game in such a way that sudden changes of lightning are avoidable, mellowed down, softened, changed in graduated steps over few seconds etc?

Resolution: 1920x1080
Vsync on
Shadow quality: Low
Antialiasing: Medium
Texture: Medium
Texture filtering: Trilinear
Postprocessing: Off
Screen Shake: Off

Edit 2: I opened a portal, went to town, and then reentered the portal. The exact same area where I was standing in the above images now looked like this:

I can now confirm that this is a bug.
My wife stole 10 levels from me, and my job stole another 2. That is why I am still level 88.
