Same as all previous events. The only event type where you get points even if you die is endless ledge / descent (not sure about descent anymore or if that was specific to season 3)

If you die, you can create a new character in the event league, but the one you died on is moved to standard and therefore is not eligible for prizes (which are awarded at the end of the race)

Hey, I just came back from a long break. I read the basic rules and such but there was no mention of fixed party. This would be a first event I would join but I am pretty clueless. If I understoond correctly, the players will be given random parties and need to clear the game with those other players. Do I need to create a character in the event and be logged on it when the event starts? Sorry if this is written somewhere, I didn't spend too much time trying to find stuff since this event starts soon.

Fixed means:

Fixed Seed
All instances of a given area will have the same area layout, for all players. Also, the minimap will automatically be fully revealed.
Multiple Race Events regularly will have the same seed. That is, the instance area layouts will be same in all the races of a fixed seed set.

Party means you can party with others. You can play solo if you want.
Well. After ledge all the maps had below average density. Had second quicksilver and ms boots but i still kept falling behind cause i was forced to aoe down even the smallest packs. In a2 the density just got worse... after doing extra lap around sins 1 i was barely lvl19 when i reached pools and streams. not really excuse for my death to exploders in western but w/e.

was using full white gear again. dont think i even saw rare drop that i could equip. pretty standart race in other words.

Started 40 minutes late. Not much luck with rng.
Spoiler
20th only solo. crashed for 5 min

IGN: Erdoganas
On Monday-Friday can come online between 4pm-8pm GMT
My time zone GMT+2
Started roughly 2 mins late, but with rng on my side I was unstoppable!

mowed down brutus at lvl8, amulet and blue quicksilver dropped.

Alched the 112% IPD in wfall2 as soon as I hit 22. And second wep dropped from Vaal, only 1 wep came even close to matching the damage :^)

Managed to achieve 10 points from level 1st time in my life. In party race which I played as solo.. rng was too awesome, sadly I was quite slow to clear act 2 so I coundn't compete for first place against duelist. :P
