Steven Seagal's martial arts history is kind of like Bruce Lee's, but without the legendary teacher. He has been credited, however, with instructing UFC fighters on perfecting winning moves.

Steven Seagal has attempted to take credit for teaching Anderson Silva (Arguable one of the best fighters in the world today) a Front kick that he used to finish off a tough opponent in devastating fashion. Steven Seagal has talked about training Anderson on many occasions which has been a hot topic in the UFC community. Recently Anderson Silva came out to say that SS did not teach him those moves and has not been that important in his training.

I look at the guy as more of a movie star than anything else. He is basically a UFC groupie.

You are absolutely right about Chuck Norris and Bruce Lee though. The edge should go to Chuck for having so much real documented skill. Bruce Lee was more of a street fighter and its hard to know exactly how great he was since he is such a legend.

Just for your own amusement, you should do a little research on Steven Seagal (martial arts history, career with the police etc). I don't think his history with UFC fighters etc counts for much, if anything, to be honest. And his personal life is a little weird.

Another interesting thing about Seagal is what he does with all that B movie $$$ he's been making in the last 10-15 years, it's quite commendable. Have a look you'll definitely learn something new about the man, that you didn't know before :)
Wong Shun Leung, he had over 60, and perhaps over 100, beimo matches and never lost. Beimo matches, are no rules fights, he only stopped fighting because he blinded an opponent. People allways go for the big names, being famous does not make you a good fighter.
