What's the worst thing you did to people in Diablo 2?

It was fun when a Pker came into games and ended up being the PKed.I remember beating a Sorcerer with Frozen Orb charges and Conviction with my Paladin,they were not expecting that.

I have fouled people in act 2 with the trade trick.

The "too good to be true scam".

The one where you make a game like "perfect grief for 2 HRs" or whatever, fill up my inventory so I can't trade anything and run around showing people my perf grief and hitting the trade button. Then once I have a bunch of people running around in a frenzy trying to get the grief, I swap it for a plain crystal sword/naga or whatever and boom! I get 2 free HRs and they get really, really sad.

Not so much scamming as abusing people's impatience :p

Never did much griefing in D2, but I do remember a real dick move I pulled in vanilla WOW.

I was questing in Tanaris for probably 30-45 minutes, all the while watching someone spam the local chat channel trying to get a group together for ZulFarrak.

Eventually me and a couple friends decided to run it, so I got an invite to the group. Problem was, once I was in there were a total of 4 people in the group and I had two friends that wanted to join. So I asked the guy who had been spamming for 45 minutes to give me leader (probably saying something like the friend I wanted to invite used strange characters and you couldn't type their name). So he gave me leader, I kicked him from the group invited my two friends and we ran the instance.

I rekcon the worst thing i did was selling shit items to noobies for a lot of perfs or decent runes, nothing out of the ordinary really, but i still feel like an ass hat.

Gull scam back in the day before LoD.

Surprised noone mentioned the ol' Paladin telekinesis trick where you would get them to drop the trade item on the ground to prove its not duped.

I fell for that one :(

Also there was a scam that made you drop all your items. I'm not sure how that worked but it really pissed me off :)

D2 was a great game wasn't it? I wish some company would made a copy of it with better graphics.

For some reason game designers don't realize a game like that would be SUPER popular.

Some of this shit is pure facepalm material, you evil sods!

Worst i did was jack loot when people were muling in public games.
