Character Goes from Anarchy to Standard Without Dying?

I have a ranger that I was running with in Anarchy. She died and switched to standard. I cleaned out her inventory and deleted her. I created a new ranger in the Anarchy to try a different (hopefully more successful) build. I have reached level 12 and went back to the Watch and noticed my inventory was all my Standard stuff. I looked up the details on the map and noticed I was in the Standard league. I didn't die or anything of that nature. Has this happened to anyone else? Kind of frustrating. I apologize if this has been beaten to death in the forums already.

You don't go back to standard when you die in anarchy. You must be making the characters in standard and not realizing it.

The league by default is anarchy which operates just like standard league, if you die you won't be moved anywhere...the only time an anarchy character will move to standard league will be at the end of the league in October.
