1 week HC race was AWESOME!

Probably the most fun I've ever had playing a video game. I had to learn so much about the game. Constantly deciding between risk to reward.
I'd play these if they were every other week. With people getting to lvl 79 in a week and low 80s being the top in default I think a 1 week ladder is much better than a 6 month ladder reset. Please don't wait until the next patch to run another. This is too much fun to just be used as a testing ground. Finished 17th in Rampage - Peaked at 11th

Yah after playing the race events, even regular hardcore just doesn't seem the same. Would be great if there was a regular schedule of 1 or 2 week events.
...now if I could just keep my char alive the whole event! LOL. Getting better though. Died 3 times the last 1-week (L30ish cruel prisoner's gate, L55 mercy vaal, L47 ruth vaal) and finished L47 (top 75). This run died 2 times (L50 mercy sins, L48 ruth vaal) and finished L60 (top 40). What's funny is all my mara's died and the templars made it till the end. IGN: Friar

" Oh boy I did not feel the way I do now after the first two day. 7 deaths, none making it out of normal. I wanted to bite the ear of a kitten off. But with all those deaths I learned a little more and made the adjustments so on the 8th I made it to 64. I'm pretty sure with the next one I can get close to 75 depending on map drops. I agree the "vanilla" HC just doesn't seem the same anymore. I just seem to use it for testing builds and practice, not that interested in leveling a character up at this point, just waiting for the next ladder event.

Another race would be cool, but I'd like to see a 1 week HC cuthroat event to test out the potentiality of such a race :D

Well, I think leveling early game would be fine for such an event. People wouldn't waste their time on small fries. The pvp enable/invasion enabling would let players try to get to the top of the ladder by killing off the competition.

We need another 1 week HC race! I'm freakin going into withdrawl already.
The game is just so much more intense and rewarding when you are playing competitively, and even when you die a few times, you can still win orbs for getting a new character up to lvl 30+, which can be done in 3-5 hours. This means people who have tons of free time are not the only ones who can win rewards too. You can only play about 2 hours a day because of work/school? Well that's enough to get to level 40+ easily. NEED MORE HC RACE!!! | |
