Wow Patch Error at 79%

The patch was almost done after 5 hours of downloading and now I have to start over from 0%.
Someone told me I would be better off reinstalling the whole game at this point because my internet speed is 20Megabits/s. If I reinstall, will I have to download the patch again anyways? There would be no point in me doing this because it would be slower then. IGN: ThrobbinRobin

You start at the same progress as you left. You just now have 0% of what remains to be updated.

it doesn't start over. the 0% is "remaining". the stuff that successfully downloaded will not have to be download again.

" As Ionface and Drakier have said, the downloader doesn't discard the data previously downloaded prior to the stop/disconnect; it does carry on from where it left off, but the progress resets to 0%. |
