So here is a story on why I made this. As my friend and I were playing Path of Exile (I was on my duelist, doing a Flicker strike + Melee Splash + Multistrike combo) as I was using my flicker strike, my friend and I had a conversation that
goes something like this:

Friend: "Man it must be pretty hard to code something like flicker strike"
Me: "Not really, I think I could code a flicker strike pretty easily"
Friend: "I don't know, You have to go to the enemy position and calculate all these things"
Me: "Okey, I'm going to try and recreate Flicker Strike"

So here I am posting my project. I am going to keep adding to it for the programming experience!

Lol, this is beautiful. Could you tell me the tools you've used?

Thanks! I used Game Maker 8 for programming, and Inkscape for the graphics. Oh and Audacity to get the sound.

Nice work. I wasn't close enough to the monsters prior to hitting Flicker Strike the first few times. Unfortunately, I also forgot I had my sound going to my speakers from the night before and it was up pretty loud. I eventually moved close enough to the monsters and when it started Flicker Striking I nearly fell out of my chair cause it scared the shit out of me.
You are one of the most talented and envisioned individuals of all time.

Sorry GGG, I quit.

I found a new game.

@OP:

Will you be adding microtransactions soon?? PLEASE???

Seriously though,

very nice!
The Russell Wilson Era
Post a video of gameplay please and thanks. I am not going to blindly download something without checking out a video first.
Remember when I won a screenshot contest and made everyone butt-hurt? Pepperidge Farm remembers.

Sorry to hear about that sound issue, I gotta try boosting my speakers to the max to experience how loud of a "boom" the flicker strike makes. I have also improved my flicker strike code to better find targets, fixed a bug where flicker strike would just have a long pause when there is 1 or 2 remaining targets, and I have fixed the range of flicker strike (the initiation of flicker strike would find enemies in a 80 px range which I forgot to change to match the rest of the code, 125 px))

Hahah, thanks for the compliment on how superior my game is compared to PoE, just kidding PoE is the best :)

If I were to make a Microtransaction for this game, I would make sure that 100% proceeds go to the GGG team. But I won't make the system as I can't really think of how to let people buy Microtransactions for an offline game.

Thanks for the comment though! I am going to keep on improving this game.

I beat the game, now what?
I'm in an abusive relationship with life. It keeps beating the hell out of me and I'm too cowardly to leave it.

Well, I hope to add an update a day, of course some may take longer than a day.
Some things that I am planning to add ASAP are working health and mana and exp bars, flasks, enemy AI, items and inventory, crafting system, and more!
