Dual Wield Blocking

How efficient is blocking while dual wielding?
I intend to play a dual wield marauder once i can get a beta key and build my survivability around high life/life reg/armor and blocking. Does this work?

Not really viable to pick up on a marauder, you've got more than enough defense to your incredibly easy access to hp/life reg and armour passives, no need for the block.
