Season Three, Event 99: 1 Hour Cutthroat Party

This league has Cutthroat and Hardcore enabled, when you die to enemies of any type you will be moved to Standard league.

A summary of hardcore Cutthroat rules:
  • This is a separate short-duration league that has its own stash (as usual). At the end of the event, characters and stashed items will be moved to Hardcore.
  • There's a PvP damage multiplier because players start with a lot more life than they do damage. This multiplier will be adjusted substantially based on feedback from this event and others.
  • Players are hostile by default to players who are not in their party.
  • You can ctrl+click on the entrance to an area to use the Instance Management screen to manually enter any other player's instance of an area.
  • Cut-throat instances can hold a maximum of 12 players.
  • This is a hardcore league. When you die, you will be moved to standard league, you lose the normal experience penalty for your difficulty plus 30% of your current level. You also drop all inventory and equipped items. Your flasks, skill gems (even ones in your inventory) and quest items are not dropped.
  • If you were killed by another player, your lost experience is split among their party.
  • If you attempt to abruptly leave the game in a non-town instance, you have to wait 5 seconds and are unable to move or use flasks.
  • The grace period of invulnerability upon entering an area is 20 seconds. This should start once the player is mostly done loading.
  • Non-partied players only show up on the map if they're nearby.
  • There are no notifications for players joining or leaving areas.
  • Portals cannot be used until they have been up for five seconds.
  • You cannot apply microtransaction effects to items in cut-throat. You may dance and have pets.

The chance to Vaal +1% maximum resists on an amulet is less than 1/300.

I'd love some non-hardcore cutthroat events, just so I don't lose all my progress when someone kills me. Hardcore for dying to mobs, fine, I suck and I deserve to lose. Dying to a player, well, no way to know if you'll get a fair fight at level 4 or some jackass with Leap Slam invading Terraces.

I guess I should thank them for extra points for 1st shadow then.
ProjectPT was right.
Yeah, try to pvp templars = lose your points. Should get points after death like in descent.
I logged out at level 7 and got 11-20th templar what the fuck\

e: ahahahahah oh my god there are only 13 living witches. If you made a witch at all you would've gotten a point, get it to 7 and you're top 10

I am still for smaller areas or at last a must have killed x monsters to progress restrictions.

Party CTs just suck as solo player or party <4.
If you rush you meet a party of 6 at ledge or prison for sure.

If you don't rush you end up being far behind the best groups of 6.

At last limit the size of invaders to the party size in instance.

Thanks to shitty prices and a shitty shedule almost my entire FL isn't racing.

Cleave just sucks in PVP what do you expect from players going with the intent of PVM into CT Races. If somebody with FP would just rush flats and intercept from flats they wouldn't even get high in ladder at all.

At last CTs are a good source to farm currency from players killing level 8 with a level 13 party. So we met a party of 3 or 4(not sure if he came back or it was another one) by ledge baiting. A duelist could escape, a templar took the wp another templar tried to take a TP and died.

I was actually lucky I could take the wp since the templar ran away from icespears, when I was at like 40% HP since one hit froze me for a short time and resist flasks prevented the common freeze rip.

But I can't seem to see the Templar on ladder at last the names don't sound familiar.

Died in a loading screen, oh well.. had to piss like mf'er anyway
This was too short. I want a semi/permanent cutthroat league!
On the first day of gaming, RNG brought for me: one Flame Hellion of Frost on The Rocky Climb.
