Client updater keeps backtracking

Hi my client updates has 12mb left to update but keeps
backtracking as soon as it gets to 2.3mb, what I mean by that is it downloads as usual getting to 17% then resetting itself to 0% and downloading again. When I leave the client to keep trying it returns an error: "Error: Unrecognized or bad HTTP Content or Transfer-Encoding while downloading http://patch12.pathofexile.com:8095/patch/0.9.11.15/Audio/Music/Act2_Cave/Act2_Cave.ogg. Attached is the PatchCheck output. Please tell me there is a way around downloading the 4.6GB again >_>.  IGN Bro_Do_You_Even_Ledge -Nemesis

I'd check that your Virus Scan or Firewall aren't disrupting Path of Exile's ability to place files. It is possible that your ISP has cached some bad data that is downloading every time - If you're able to copy the game folder to another PC or another connection, and complete the download, that may be the only way to get around this problem.

I have this problem also and disabling firewall and anti virus and running in admin doesnt resolve the problem
any other fixes? |
