i just registered, was wondering:

1) when i get chosen do i get an email with everything in it?

and

2) do i need to be activated to download the game ?

your account will be automatically upgraded if you win a key from the timer, and then you can download the client from the site. you can also download the client from the open beta weekend, but you wont be able to play until your account gets upgraded
