Yo! Shaper/Elder items are very exciting. VERY OP, but very exciting :)

The only things that really got shrekt are belts, and helm/gloves for utility. However helm/gloves are generally the last thing to be mirrored anyway. I've only had a couple mirror services on my belts, and I originally made them for personal use anyway, so I'm not worried about that at all. However, I do feel bad for the guys that just came out with those awesome Hysteria belts, now with the Visage base, those will need to be made all over again.

Luckily for me, my ring/ammy/legacy gear will be fine. Legacy LLRF ES gear will always be exactly what it needs to be (except for the belt, which I'll make a new one anyway). Ring is exactly what it needs to be, the new GG shaper mods for rings are stuff like "give X curse on hit" which is nice for utility, but (for example) my Doomfletch build uses assassins mark for mapping, then blasphemy/projectile weakness for bosses. Don't want to have 2 different mirror rings to swap out there, plus all the mods are exactly what we need for that build. The 70% multi amulet is legacy, which cannot be recreated with the shaper mods, so that is safe as well.

I could be wrong, but IMO, the main things that will be in trouble will be non-essence crafted items and belts.
