Vaal Oversoul - am i missing stats or skill?

i pushed my hp to 490 and didnt even lose dps or mana.

i was running around all the time, throwing zombies to keep the oversoul busy and it was really no problem anymore. i died once again - and that was it. now i am back at the twighlight strand!

conclusion: you need 450+ hp. that is enough to take at least one or two hits. everything else is just movement.
