"Decoded no data" error, Packcheck OK

I couldn't find any answers about this error, other than "run packcheck".

I get the "Unable to map file" error fairly regularly in Act II (every few loading screens) so I exited and reloaded the client before heading into Pyramid on Cruel. I cleared the pyramid and boss and headed to Ruthless. The game crashed with the error above right after I killed Hillock and tried to enter the Shore Encampment.

I just ran PackCheck and it returned no errors. Shore Encampment loaded OK when I re-launched the game.

This isn't the Creative bug becasue I'm running Realtek ALC889A integrated sound on the motherboard with Microsoft drivers. I can provide a DXdiag if it's of any help.
Open beta is still BETA.

I've got the same problem. I can't enter the Dark Forest because of it.
I would try a few things... don't know if it would help at all, but it can't hurt, either:

1) (If you have a realtek soundcard) Install the realtek audio codecs/drivers:

http://www.realtek.com.tw/downloads/downloadsView.aspx?Langid=1&PNid=24&PFid=24&Level=4&Conn=3&DownTypeID=3&GetDown=false

2) Install OpenAL.

http://connect.creativelabs.com/openal/Downloads/oalinst.zip

3) Install something with a large generic audio codec package... like the Media Player Codec Pack. (be sure to NOT install the included toolbars!)

http://www.mediaplayercodecpack.com/

Again... just shots in the dark.

Hope it helps!
