The American dream

These days can't be accomplished in America, you might want to try a more sunny place somewhere I don't know like the Bahamas.
Or maybe somewhere cold and snowy like Canada or the Nordic countries.

Unfortunately it has been this way for a while. Some people like to point to when Reagan was elected as the turning point towards the shrinking of the middle class in America. I am not sure it didnt start before then.

Dont worry though if you were lucky enough to win the genetic lottery, you will achieve the American dream, and you dont even have to do anything.

But you know Americans are so lazy thats why they dont achieve the American dream. They just want people to give them shit. You know Americans if you just work your ass off and get your 19 cent raises every year soon you will be as wealthy as say Mitt Romney.
This is the true American Dream:

Yeah. Americans. Lazy. That's what happens when you give people free shit for nothing. Then they vote for more. I think we can thank FDR and LBJ for most of that.

Alexis De Tocqueville saw this coming:

"The American Republic will endure until the day Congress discovers that it can bribe the public with the public's money."

NICE QUOTE.

Prophetic, as were many of the other quotes at that link. Of course, the ancient Greeks had already proved most of it, and were the basis of those warnings. =-[.]-=

Did anyone else notice that the kid spelled 'Play' wrong?

And it's America, not america.
moon meant 'Murica.

And btw, the American Dream (the original one, not the bastardized entitled dream of doing nothing) is very much alive and well and achievable. People in America are free to pursue their dreams and change their station in life through hard work and dedication.

The bastardized dream of doing nothing all day has ironically always been possible and way easier to achieve than the American Dream, just not from the pool house at daddy's mansion.

Please stop caring what celebrities had for breakfast, or which build is 'best', or which path in life is the easiest, and pursue Your dreams and desires. If you literally get turned away from your hard work, then I will agree with you. Nobody outside of your parents (and not even them usually) are going to give you a free pass in life. It takes hardwork and a bit of luck to carve out your own place in this world, and in America, it doesn't matter where you started, you are free to work hard and earn your way.
Hey...is this thing on?

mounting prices in education and record high debts by students finishing school doesn't leave much for a happy and prosperous life if your always stressed about your debts.... and now they want to double student loans interest on new applicant...
