Marauder Build Idea Need help with.

I was thinking of making a Marauder build.
I am new to this class.
I was thinking of using either maces or axes. I was also considering making it a 2 handed maces or axes build also, would like some pros and cons for it!
I am definately using the following gems: Infernal Blow Multistrike Melee Splash

I have no idea for the gear or other items.
Any advice would be appreciated.
No i am not getting the Attacks Cannot Be Evaded thing cause then you can never land a critical hit, and i am thinking of making it a high Critical Hit build also.
