Disconnected in loading screen

Loading was not long, just a few seconds and I saw my modem was run out of battery (POE still in loading screen). I quickly closed POE and turn on my modem to reconnect again, after I login I saw my character already became Standard League...
Why everything still running even I closed or DC? Because disconnected in loading screen? My character should be left the game once I lost my connection! Not just stayed there for more then 20sec!!!! I believe you're character has to stay in the game awhile (40 seconds?) when zoning in a new instance.

You need to invest in one of those hamster powered modems.
