POE is impossible to play due to desynch and disconnection

Hi everybody.
I used to play POE connecting with an internet key used as wifi spot, of my housekeeper who lives in the flat above mine, so not such a nice connection, very poor signal, infact i suffered a lot from desynch.
I changed my internet service provider with a better one, and on the 12th of june i received the router and started to using the new internet connection (in wifi).
Due to the new powerful internet connection i started playing in onslaught and until friday it was all just perfect.
But from saturday (15th of june) it's getting worse, it's even worse than before when i used to connect with the internet key. The problem is not that i lost my highest char in onslaught, and that on saturday i died at least 7-8 in terraces/mud flats due to desynch, the problem is the impossibility to play at all.

To be more clear i'm always affected by desynch, every 2 minutes of play i got an huge desynch, that sometimes leads to disconnection, and it's not so rare to found myself in softcore league when i log back in the game (Desynch -> still alive-> Unexpected Disconnection -> log back -> myself in softcore)
Other times when my cahracter runs from A to B, when he reaches B the desynch brings him back to A, so i found myself running from A to B in a loop that sometimes forces me to quit and logging back.

So it's impossible at all to play.

There is a way for me to solve the problem? Are just the new league that are so crowded? Is the end of school that brings a lot of people to play overcrowding the servers?

I'm playing in wifi 'cause the modem is in the other room, so i haven't tried the wired connection, but the signal is very high and i can surf the web with no problem

Thanks for your help
Desync is normal, almost everyone gets it.
Getting DC'd well it could be a number of things.

Which gateway are you using?

You can also run WinMTR and post the results here.

Same happens to me.
The last two days desyncs rollbacks etc went crazy.
And now disconnections every minute. Changing gateways doesn't help.
And it happens on two different computers with different isp's ( wireless and cable) on different locations.
But thats nothing new, since open beta these problems occur every now and then. They're just not getting it fixed.

Ironically almost every post i recall seeing about lag and repeat DCs that have done as asked and ran the WinMTR have been found to be ISP related problems, the only exception being the Singapore gateway which there is now a dedicated thread to report problems with it.

i'm from italy so i use as gateway "Europe"
Opening WinMTR i writed in the host field "EU.login.pathofexile.com" the results

Any clue about the issue? Is it my ISP fault? or i'm fine with it and the problem is elsewhere?
Nobody can explain my WinMTR results?
I don't really see much wrong with your WinMTR results. Desync is rarely caused by lag or packet problems though. It's almost always a server-side issue with tracking your location. Lag can sometimes play a factor in that, but it's more often attributed to your skills that you're using, or your playstyle.

Otherwise, your connection looks reasonable.
Problem is not desynch itself, but the high degree it reaches..
I can state that everybody is affected by desynch, and is quite normal..But now it's become unreasonable high, so high you keep on getting disconnected, so high you can't play POE at all.
And it's not just me, i'm seeing lots of threads being open by people who complains the same issue:

- Highest desynch of ever
- Disconnection that occurs every 5-10 minutes of play

"
It's almost always a server-side issue with tracking your location.

Why server was able to track me and after the last week losts his ability to track me well?
I'm not a mind-reader, nor do I have access to their code. I can't tell you why it is doing something. All I can say is what generally appears to happen to people.

The other posts about getting disconnection are related to their actual connection. In most cases, their ISP is high latency, their ISP is dropping packets, or they're on a wireless connection which does a little of both.

There were a couple of new threads created last night which look to show a problem within the NetworkLayer section, but your trace shows no signs of that. Your latency to the servers as well as your packet loss look completely reasonable.

That isn't to say however that the latency you get pining to the server is going to be the same latency the in-game monitor will show you. The in-game monitor takes server load into account when showing results. If you get 100ms ping times when tracing to the server, and you're seeing 800ms ping times in the game, chances are, the server you are on is under a higher load and is taking longer to process information and relay packets back to you.

The in-game latency is the time it takes a command from your client to go to the server, be processed, then sent back. The "network speed" only accounts for a portion of that transaction. The server load takes up quite a bit more. The higher the load, the slower the server and the higher your latency will show (also probably increases desync).
