Anyone else join because of Kripp/Chris Stream?
Kripp's stream definetly got me into the game. I had heard of it before but had never really seen anything about it. The stream helped get me more info/ depth into the game

I really do hope this game is being successful and they keep working at it. I love how they combined their inspirations from the materia system in FFVII, the sphere board in FFX and Diablo 1 in a persistent world. Great depth overall. Diablo 3 is a "light game" in the genre compared to this.

Hail Kripparrian!

I heard about Path of Exile (PoE) from the DIII forums but learned of the PoE open beta weekend (OBW) from Kripp's stream. Played it a lot over the weekend and loving it so far! Purchased a supporter pack immediately after the OBW was over.
What impressed me the most was the PoE Lead Developer, Chris Wilson, hanging out on Kripp's stream and answering questions... for hours! Best of all, Chris gets it. This is a game for hardcore gamers designed, built, and managed by hardcore gamers (no former Proctor & Gamble execs here!). The game is still a bit rough around the edges, but it's also sill early in the beta. The transparency of communication from the developers refreshing. IGN: Friar

" Yes, I love how Chris is getting into contact with the players so much and how they listen to constructive criticism. Keep it up, guys! -JackieChance

http://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/40641 is our catch-all Kripparrian thread. I shall close this one to prevent clutter. Please continue posting anything Kripp-related there. :)
Warhammer 40k Inquisitor: where shotgunning is not only not nerfed, it is deeply encouraged.
Dogma > Souls, but they're masterworks all. You can't go wrong. I was right about PoE2 needing to be a separate, new game. It was really obvious. |
