Game crashed when TP:ing

Several times when I have entered a TP, the game has stopped answering. I thought it wasn't nothing special really, as I assumed that my character would be in town. But now I learned, that isn't the case as my lvl 45 shadow died (HC). Which is quite frustrating, to die in a manner like this. I have no clue what is causing this thou, as the game otherwise never crashes for me.
