2 Week hardcore bug death

I was racing in the 2 week hardcore ladder race. Me and my team mate had just reached the mud flats in act 1 ruthless. As we passed the unique boss Rhoa to open the cave he had placed his Life drain DOT on my character. As I fled the monster the aura was off and we were safe. only to arrive at the wall where the debuff had returned without the monster in sight and drained me to death.

Now I have no problem admitting if I died at my own fault, but I honestly do not see this as something I did improperly. I was streaming this game as this was happening and do have viewer witnesses who feel the same thing

It is obviously at your discression if you believe this was a fair death or not. but I truly do not find it a legitimate death.
