turning filter white back on does not show white items

Set UI options to Always Highlight and Filter White Items.
Kill some stuff or drop some white items on the ground. Turn Filter White Items off. White items already on the ground do not show up until Alt is pressed. Old minions never die... they just wander off and abandon you right before you run into a pack of angry monkeys.
