Yeah, Whitewalker is a "A Song of Ice and Fire" series reference.
I haven't watched the show though. But it just doesn't remind me of anything about them from the books. Probably doesn't help that Wraeclast has no snowy areas (yet!). "In a state of physical balance and security, power, intellectual as well as physical, would be out of place."
