Kinetic Fusillade targets nearby chests

When there is an enemy and a chest about equal distance to you, Kinetic Fusillade will target either the chest or the enemy at about 50/50 ratio. This happens for both regular tileset chests, and legion reward chests. Have not tested other sources of chests
