jsp and PoE
My problem with 3rd party sites, like the one mentioned, is how they tolerate the creation and use of bots/farming tools or other exploits, which can't be moderated or controlled by the game owners ( = huge slap in the face for GGG).
Also remember we're guests in PoE. It's not our game, we're only playing on GGG's servers and by thus have to agree to the house rules. Buying (powerful) items somewhere else is like bringing your own drinks to a restaurant, while ignoring the menu carte. Not the best comparison but to me it feels like this. And I'm not sure how this will work but for Cutthroat mode/full PvP it will clearly be an unfair advantage (P2W). I very much understand Chris' stance on the matter and hope everyone is mature enough to respect the rules. Please don't spoil the good spirit of the game :) If you're leaving PoE, chances are I'll rezz you as my minion! MWHAHAHAH

This entire thread is basically an advertisement for that crummy website. Advertising third party websites which allow you to buy and sell virtual products with real money has always been banned unless the company allows it for obvious reasons.
What's next? Chinese botters making posts asking if their website advertisement is allowed too? Just because you're not botting yourself doesn't mean this forum/operation isn't exactly like an operation similar to all those bot/dupe sites which sold items directly for money. I think the admin should just delete this thread because it's simply allowing people to see the existence of d2jsp and allow these guys more potential buyers. d2items.com isn't allowed here so neither should d2jsp. Take your shady business else where. I'm not even against buying items, but jsp sucks and is worse than just buying them directly from some Chinese guy who has a bunch of cracked cd-keys and bots running/spamming advertisements. Paying the 1,000 for material goods, an idea in the game, and supporting the developers is like a donation to a cause you support. Paying 50 bucks for a meal and a movie (items in game), isn't compared to donating 1k to support something you enjoy, so horrible analogy. Spending 50 bucks on items doesn't even support the developers like buying the game would even. It can actually take money away from them in the long run because of botters, hacks, and advertisements being spammed and them having to put many resources on solving these problems because money being paid to these guys makes it profitable. They bot and sell those items for money, not enjoyment of the game or supporting anyone. Last edited by rwk#4637 on Jul 11, 2012, 7:31:31 AM

I didn't post the full name just so I don't make publicity out of it.
