Wilma's Requital does not add cast speed from a lot of sources..

So I play EA elementalist and I use this helm and noticed that I don't get a lot of cast speed from variety of sources. I read up on it and apparently you don't get the stats from passives which says let's say "4% increased attack speed 4% increased cast speed" which is apparently intended but what about onslaught? I think onslaught should be giving both since it is not really passive and they're separated. Ancestral echo cluster jewel passive does not give both either.

I still don't understand why even passives should not give the double benefit... it makes the helmet pretty much pointless if it does not give both in my opinion. Like that is the point of using this helmet. To stack both. Nobody would even consider taking single cast nodes ever. You are already giving up HP and resists on helmet potentially other stats as well for basically nothing. Why should anybody even consider using this helmet otherwise?

At least according to the wiki and whoever wrote that, it does double dip that specific stat from Onslaught as well as Adrenaline. Combo it with Frenzy charges, Haste, and some other more specific items and that helmet is far from pointless.
Onslaught does not double dip. Only gives one.

In the character spread sheet it says main hand attack speed modifier: 55% If I get onslaught it goes to 75%. That is 20% only. Onslaught gives 20% as and 20% cast which sould be 40 total.

Might be multiplicative and not additive in the character stats? But the math does not match anyway.

Edit: I think onslaught might actually work but still the others does not. It is still a bit wonky.

When I have 51% attack modifier and I take a 4% node it goes to 55% so it is additive but when I use onslaught from 55 it goes to 75 which is additive 20%. Neither multiplicative 20 nor 40% would put the 55 to 75 correctly so IDK.

When I check attack time let's say 0.46 goes down to 0.43 if I get arcane surge which gives 20% cast. But when I get onslaught(from flask) 0.46 goes down to 0.41 so it does work there.

as was discovered when the helmet released, it only affects cast speed gained when it is a separate modifier (another line)

Source 1: (no separation, 1 buff)
12% increased attack and cast speed : Will not work (some passives)

Source 2: (new lines delineate separate buffs)
12% increased attack speed
12% increased cast speed
: Will work

Source 3: (commas delineate separate buffs)
12% increased attack speed, cast speed, and character size : Will work (soul eater)

It is not supposed to double dip on the same buff, it only converts when the cast speed is it's own buff.

That is how it works everywhere else, but for whatever reason Onslaught and Adrenaline are double dipped. Maybe 2-lines don't works and 3+ works? Unclear.
Simply put, one line can modify a value only once.
"4% increased Attack and Cast Speed" already modifies attack speed, so it can't modify it again.

What matters is that when you hover over a buff icon, you see the buff descriptive text, not stat lines. Such descriptions are not meant to be technically accurate. In fact, onslaught separately modifies attack speed, cast speed and movement speed (3 lines). Adrenaline in the same way has 5 lines.

TS says it doesn't work with onslaught though (or they reconsidered? I didn't get that).

Where is this for my knowledge? I just threw on an Onslaught flask with MB and both the buff icon and alt text are showing one line (technically 2 lines for the buff because it wraps the 20% to a second line).

I didn't want to do a respec to get a better test, but here's some numbers with Wilma's, non-buffed Onslaught Flask (20/20) with Mageblood (no flask effect), and 26% cast speed from rings with default attack.

Base:
2.2

With Onslaught:
2.79

With 26% cast speed from rings:
2.58

With Onslaught + Rings:
3.15

Onslaught is unboosted 20/20%, and more than 26% cast speed, so it seems like double dipping to me? But it's also very late for me so I could be missing some factor.

I don't think you can check that in-game. Poedb shows it
