Ran juiced memory map from Eagon, got rolled back, now map has "Area is Cursed"

Hi I ran a memory map with Eagon and dropped multiple divines with my strat. Then as I was finishing up the map, with divines in inventory, the server starts lagging and eventually crashes. I log back in through the queue and see my empty map device, no loot in my inventory. I think oh my map has been rolled back, I'll run it again to hopefully get approximately the same loot as was deleted from me.

Then I notice the "Area is Cursed" tag on the map, saying there is limited loot drop. I google it and find that this is when you fail a memory map. Huh?? So my map loot gets rolled back, but it still counts as me having run the map as if I failed it. That hardly seems intentional. If you are going to roll back an entire map, loot and all, then it better also affect stuff like this.
