Please do not come here just to post that you got a map from the Rack.

In order for the data to be accurate, you must regularly post all of your statistics, not just the maps you get. The reason for this is if the only data people posted was of successes, the data would be biased away from failures that never become successes, making the odds seem higher than they really are - it's important to keep that from happening.

NOTE: Maps will only drop in merciless, please don't post data about Catacomb runs in lower difficulties

Complete logged Catacomb data:
128 - large chests
452 - scribe’s racks
30 - maps (from racks)

566 - Catacomb runs

Large chests can be found in any indoor instance, but they have a higher chance to appear in the Catacombs (side area beside Market Place waypoint; inhabited by viper strike spiders, statues and cold skeletons/skeleton mages/necromancers; monster level is 67).
Scribe’s Rack chests can be found since Version 0.10.8 in the Catacombs. The rack can drop scrolls or maps or nothing.
There can be no racks in the instance and it is also possible to find multiple.

I did some Catacomb runs today with a friend and i decided to keep track of the racks we find. We have done 9 runs, found 12 racks (all runs were full clears) and we got no maps from them.

Some Catacombs had no racks, but sometimes we found multiple racks (5 was the max we've seen in one instance)

EDIT: btw would anyone be interested in a golden chest log for the catacombs?

Congrats for the chisels, my own golden chest drops were rather meh :D
