good question... Probably the only way of stopping farming is doing something unpopular like remove the player trading. If your only possibility of trading is via auction house (GOLD AUCTION HOUSE of course) this will remove completely the pourpose of the farmer. I'd be more concerned with bots in D3 than POE. There will be an incentive to farm items in D3. Hackers will be hackers. I'm sure these are all issues GGG is going to address. Hardware bans are extremely easy to bypass... it's not like it actually knows what hardware you have, just a hash of the samples it takes.. change any sample in any way, and you get a new hash. Because there are a lot of people who like to be trolls and cause grief. However, if what ever they are doing doesn't directly effect another player, their attention may not hold.
