CANT LOG IN

didnt work
restarted my modem. restarted my router no changes can only play via VPN with masive lag | |

If the VPN works, but without the VPN doesn't work, then there is something between you and the server blocking the ports... so either you have a firewall/routing issue, or your ISP is blocking something.
With it working over VPN, I would think that it wasn't something you have on your machine as I would imagine a firewall at your router or on your PC would prevent even the VPN from working/connecting. Last edited by Drakier on Apr 29, 2013, 4:53:11 PM

i entered all tcp ports associated with POE to windows firewall
not sure what else can block it i am using ESET NOD security center what should i check to unblock all? | |

I don't know if it's windows firewall doing it, or your router with possible firewall (most do), or your ISP.. it's hard to say. It's especially odd that it works fine over VPN but not on a regular connection. Usually the only times this happens that I've seen consistently is with college campus networks and dorm connections where they might block certain ports, etc. Something beyond the control of the PC running the game and deeper into the network. VPN fixes those as well in most cases.
