Client crash auto report

If the client has terminated because of a windows blue screen, will that also generate an auto report - or should I make a report for this? (Have 4 .dmp files, blue screens occurring about 30-45 mins into play)

If the game stops unexpectedly, a report is automatically created and sent to GGG the next time you start the client. They will investigate these reports and see what caused it. If you have any idea why the game crashed, feel free to put a topic here (or better, search if it is a known issue or in a thread in this forum already).

The fact that it's a blue screen means it's probably system related - Do you have a Creative sound card? If not, I'd suggest you update your graphics card drivers!

Yes I have Creative X-Fi Platinum Fatality, running on Vista 64. My drivers were v out of date for both sound and gfx cards (old 1gb 4870) so I have fixed that (after the trauma of Catalyst 11.10 foisted on me by Steam last yr, I reverted and never touched drivers again while they worked!).

I did get another blue screen immediately on entering (dismissed it on reflex unfort - portcls.sys was the prob iirc) but play has been fine since.
