ADMINS please help!

Got scammed today at about 10-11 AM UTC +12:00. Did not know exactly where to post this
The users in game name are AMPd(account name ampdgmr) and Viralrush, wanted to buy a belt from AMPd for 20 alchemy orbs, we went in mud flats in normal difficulty, i dropped them, and when i came towards AMPd to get the belt, Viralrush came through the waypoint and took all of the alchemy orbs, then they left without a word. i have screenshots to prove the conversation and when they entered and left mudflats, if they are necessary PM me so i can send them. I suspect this isn't the first time they did this, and through global chat i found out that a many people are getting scammed like this. Please help the PoE community get rid of scammers.

i would assume that at this point until the trading system is in this is a trade at ur own risk type thing. sucks that it happened but i dont believe anything will come of it since there arent any rules on trading yet :(

That could be a temporary solution but when open beta comes they could just make a new account. The only way to stop it from happening is to complete the trade system.

even if its temporary it still helps, plus they could ban people like this in open beta and restrict they're right to make another account, so they re permanently banned.

Don't get me wrong Victor. I was only saying that it would only be temporary, not that it shouldn't be done. As for stopping people from making accounts permanently, I do not know how they would do this effectively. It would be harder to do for people with dynamic IPs I think and they would have to be able to go through all the people that scam in open beta/release. This could be a very difficult thing to do. But if they could I would support it 100%.

Victor ill have u know tonight my friend was approached by ampd for a unique maul. i saw this post so i messaged him and said ide buy it for my buddy if he dropped first. he then told me he couldnt trade. lol just letting u know an update on him. i tried to get some payback for u. im a very loyal trader but after seeing this post u best believe i was pickin up and running. what would he h ave done come to his own post and said he got scammed. anyways. to no avail i tried to redeem for ya and it didnt work. but he knows his name is all over the forums now. happy hunting my friend sorry u got scammed.



Btw my friend phreeon is gonna post the logs of the convo from him.

Can we get this guy banned? Please admins,as you can see he's continuing to try to and scam more people, please get rid of him, we have no need for these kind of people in the community
