Extreme Graphic Glitches

http://imgur.com/a/BMe2E/all#0

This will happen occasionally. Makes the game unplayable until a reboot. I tried to keep going in order to determine a pattern to replicate the issue but was unable to find one. One area would be glitched and another would not.

This looks like your graphics card overheating, but it may be this issue here. Are you able to check your card temperature when this happens? Do you have Vsync on? You may need a framerate limiter to prevent your graphics card pushing itself too hard, until we have the game optimized and the framerate capped.

Definitely not overheating. Unless PoE creates some sort of stress test I don't know about. I ran the system in stress mode for 8 hours today with no failures. (Used ATi Tool) I then ran Crysis on max graphics for a few hours. No issues.

I will continue to try to reproduce the issue. Some more information i thought about that I hope is helpful. I could leave the zone and the rendering would fix its self but if i returned to that area it would still be glitched. If i waited for the area to reset its self (15 min) it would be ok again. I don't know if this is just correlation but i hope it helps.

Great Game GGG Keep it up!

PoE doesn't have an FPS limiter yet, so unless you are limiting it through an external program, the possibility of overheating your graphics card exists, no matter how good it is. Or at least, that's my understanding.

If a graphics card has adequate cooling, it will never overheat, regardless of what you throw at it.
I also have this glitches. After resetting game its work correctly. Also i could say its not overheating.

I have ATI card and people who posted about these glitches also have Ati cards. From my experience as playing old games / beta versions i could say thats probably something with gamecard drivers. Card drivers are too fresh (yes, not too old). When companies make new versions of card drivers they only have in mind that they could work with new games. Sadly but they dont care at all about backward compatibility.

Shortly. There are some lines in game code that want from graphic cards to make impossible things. Cards cannot execute this commands cause their drivers dont have corresponding lines in their code. As example i could say that nvidia cards (series 8000 amd 9000) have problems with System Shock 2 (radiation glitches).
Thank you for all the input grabi! I will try rolling back to a old driver set and see if i can replicate.

I had these glitches only once and i cannot see what situation triggers them.
In my experience those are heat related, my post http://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/23733
I have the same problem, its not heat related. I started having this problem after updating my video card driver. I have faith this will be resolved though, it is a great game so far.
