TANKY EB-Multi-PointBlank-LightningStrike || 7-8 AURAS

I probably messed with lightning strike builds throughout 4-5 characters and Marauder are tankiest due to hp regen, Templar come close second being able to dish out more DPS with nearly 200 mana regen and 2k+ mana can run Artic Armor and 8+ auras, for a shadow it's best to run crit LS either hp+eb or CI.

Lightning Strike should be 14% or greater with the use of proj weakness, you can pierce 100% of the time. 4L=LS->MultiStrike->WED->Faster Attacks 4L=LS->MultiStrike->WED->LMP\GMP 5L=LS->MultiStrike->WED->Faster Attacks->Loh\Life Leech 5L=LS->MultiStrike->WED->LMP\GMP->Loh\Life Leech 6L=5L=LS->MultiStrike->WED->Faster Attacks->Loh\Life Leech->LMP or Added Fire|Melee Physical The 6th slot is pretty much anything, I prefer LMP or even GMP if you can support the mana cost b\c Lightning Strike alrdy does so much DPS, you dont want to go killing yourself on reflect and LMP helps with clear speed. Blood Magic Gem Alternate Build: Pros: 16% HP| more resists| 30% more elemental dmg Cons: Less DPS(maybe) from lost of a gem slot, for a 5L i would take out faster atttacks, if you have a 6L then you're fine.

Hey,
I am running a Point Blank build too and this is not my first try either. I am not a big fan of EB. I personally does not spec passive above the templar skill tree until LVL 70-80. Rather than spending all those points to EB, i spend it into Fury Bolt, Acceleration and Lether and Steal. I find it a lot more appropriate in terms of DPS and damage mitigation. Also, going into EB you miss on 6 life nodes and i would never trade this many life nodes for EB. I hope this helps ;) | |

Thing is without EB, you can't run 8 auras and won't have enough mana to use LS especially with multistrike.

You honestly do not need anymore dps\attack speed nodes with this build, im at 7 attack speed per second with Lightning Strike and you can reach 10k dps easily with a good 1hander, IF you don't like EB then take all the surrounding HP nodes but its going to cost the use of auras and limited ability to spam Lightning Strike at 7 attack per second. :P sure it's tanky and ill have over 1k of es with the extra hp but its a huge trade off, no mana = no dps.

yeah that build is very viable in hardcore, its basically my LA marauder and you can use LS with the same build :)
