" It no longer has the stat, 'Ailments inflicted on Cursed Enemies deal Damage 20% Faster." This stat previously didn't work so this doesn't functionally change anything to remove it. "

So Bane is nerfed but hexes are more effective against bosses. So... is the overall result better for boss fights or worse?

The whole curse manifesto revolved around the statement of "Hexes being weakest where they matter most and strongest where they matter least".

And now they say "No" here, about removing boss penalties for Marks. Marks should have been the focal point of above statement even more than Hexes. By this logic, where are we supposed to cast Marks if bosses resist them possibly by 66%? On random AN mobs hiding somewhere among dozen of normal mobs running near them?
what about alternate quality curses that gave more maximum doom?

Marks do not lose effectiveness against bosses, as they are not hexes.
