Since you get the points AND mtx its much more rational to buy the supporter pack instead of points only. Badges are therefore the best public indicator for how much cash a player have put in the game (besides 'creating' div cards).

Yeah, seems so. If they're set on returning the game as close to the roots as possible, that will alienate those that didn't like the game back then, and those that did like it will maybe come back.

Which is probably why they're doing it now instead of a year or two ago. When PoE2 releases, a lot of people will come back to check it out, including those that wouldn't bother if the big balance changes were just tacked onto several league releases. It's a huge opportunity to present it as a whole new game and, if they think they made a mistake with the development so far, to set things straight.

After reading the forums the last few days (was sick og PoE and didn't play last league), I decided to give it a go to see how good/bad it is now. Am a slow-poke, so still in act1, lower prison, but so far I like the new difficulty.
I'd hate to play melee, though. Luckily, the snipe+kite of caustic arrow has always been my favourite play style :)

1. Best PoE was in the range 1.3 - 2.4. All series of 3.x is stuffed with greed and disrespect toward the players - especially the common ones.
2. Reverting is no-go. The nerfs must stop once for all. I dont believe some sane person is going to spend on something which is less stable than thin ice on which jumping hundred peoples which hate each other.
3. Community is now considered not the general player base, but only a hand of streamers, which spends hundred dollars in-game. Our opinion does not matter since the rise of twitch.

I believe that this extreme disrespect peoples is based on the fact that there is not ( yet ) similar game where to move the entire population if it have stable economy, and especially NO NERFS.

No, you get 50 points less if you buy packs.

No, you get 50 points less if you buy packs.

Stop derailing the thread. 50 points is nothing. Armour packs are 400+ points. So for 50 more points which wouldnt give you an acceptable helmet in the shop you loose out on an unique full armor set which wont be available in the shop later. You will get much more bang for your buck if you use supporter packs to get points. So, like I said its usually not rational to buy points directly but keep on doing what you are doing in the shop.

Lets discuss the Ultimatum to GGG further.

I had enough with this league. Quit this damn league and deleted the character to avoid the temptation of trying again as I did 50 times over the past week. Never had so much unpleasant feeling playing the game as for the past week or so. I still love PoE so do not want to ruin it by force playing league to the point it will turn into hate.

Seriously, fuck Expedition. God fuckin dammit how much I hate this league...

So are you guys going to create a petition or something? I know some good websites which can help with that

Not gonna petition the Devs to change their own game, when those exact changes are what they wish to do. Their game, not ours. All this talk about community feedback just gave us a wrong impression.

Everything they might revert now, they will just bring back later. There are other games out there, I just spend the afternoon playing Last Epoch, and guess what, still beta, but I actually enjoyed it. Thats more than I can say about POE 3.15 ....

I don't think they care. Maybe they're going to realize that when it's too late. GGG are like politicians now. They're all "we hear you, feedback noted, we're listening.." and they do nothing.
This is the worse league ever considering that we're a week in and so many players just quit, including myself.
I so wanted to play this league and they ruined it.
This relationship is starting to become one-sided and toxic.

All good things have to end at some point I guess.
