Animation Locks -- Why?

Seriously why are there animation locks in this sort of game? Any plans to do away with these? Animation locks make the combat feel completely clunky.

Also .. animation locks destroy the Shadow class, or any spec that utilizes high mobility with spell casts; it has the same effect on kiting with Bows.

Combat feels fine to me. Prioritize cast speed if you want to maintain mobility with casting.
It is a bit of a pain and does make things a bit clunky, but at the moment it's an engine limitation-- the player can only do one thing at one moment.

It's called "stun".
