Newb Gem question

Sorry if this has been asked but I could not seem to find the answer.
Does stacking the same gem(ie fireball) in multiple items increase the effect? Or multiple minion summoning gems increase number of minions? Don't forget to register on the semi-official

No it doesn't. Except for Raise zombies only if the gems are different levels.

Thanks for the fast answer. So many gem slots must be a lot of skills to find.

" This is actually a bug you are not suppose to be able to gain the extra number of minions from socketing a second minion gem of the same type of minion.
