As it was The Hidden, I wanted to get 2 atlas points from The Hidden in any way. I can see the following alternatives:
* (if it WORKS this way - donno) by joining another instance of The Hidden which is completed with me inside, so I get atlas points;
* a set of stones for The Hidden and carry service for the invitation, if the fist option does not work.
If neither is possible, the currency refund remains an option, but it is the least favored, as I need atlas points and not the currency.
Are you interested in any specific info?

Scam/carry failures are always deleted from Reddit unless it's egregious so no conspiracy there. GGG is the one that strangely encourages TFT, not Reddit heh.
Yes, it was The Hidden white/blank. And the carry's char was IMO quite sufficient for the service (I checked before inviting to party), maybe the carry was not in the condition (drunk/tired), LOL.
Another consideration might be the ping and server location, but the advertisement on TFT had no limitations about server.

Anyways, if the guy is listed as a top carry service person, I dont see why when they fail, you cant leave a mark if so. If a service hub had roof fixing companies, and I paid for the one billed as the top roofers by the hub/company, and they came and screwed my roof up, I would be pretty mad, too. Especially if I cant even leave a review on it.
That seems to be what happened? Guy came in, wasted portals, crapped the bed, said nah, you go to the mods to say this guy wasted your time and effort and hes given high marks by the system(allowing him to get more jobs), and they say deal with it?
I can see where that would really annoying.
Yes, this is almost 100% to the point.
I can hardly find any benefit in being mad, but I found a way to prevent this type of situations from happening in the future at all. I posted a suggestion in the relevant section here ( https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/3100592) and volunteered to help with the implementation. I think I did everything within my grasp in this situation.

Everything I said applies to any carry or achievement service that involves you paying up front. Obviously the guy gave up an item (yes, currency is an item) and isn't happy with what the contracted player did after recieving it, or else this thread wouldn't exist.
